ABOUT EMILY STOKES
Emily has been teaching in the NYC fitness scene for just under 10 years (wow, I feel old!), working with CRUNCH, NBC, The Yale Club, Met Life, ViacomCBS, New York Health & Racket and various boutique pop-ups. Having taught for NY's Summer in the Streets, Reebok private events, and Macy's, she also teaches in the corporate fitness world.

A NASM certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness & Power Pilates instructor, she is also a master trainer for DEEP®, NYC's newest meditation and myo-fascial release class, and a master trainer & co-writer of the manual for CRUNCH's Powerball® Pilates utilizing the Ballast® Bosu ball. She was one of the first instructors to launch POUND® in NYC & helped launch the JillianMichealsBodyShred® class ithrough CRUNCH in NYC. (And yes, Jillian is even more awesome in person).
With an eye for form, Emily now specializes in pilates and barre-based workouts intended to realign hips, knees, lengthen the spine, and chisel that powerhouse through balance training and intense core work. She teaches various formats from basic mat to incorporating blocks, rings, balls or weights to mimic reformer moves offering a full body workout to strengthen & lengthen the body.
She puts this same methodology into her sessions with her personal clients as well! By focusing on attainable goal-setting, a "form first" approach and consist sessions, her clients leave with the results they wanted and even more benefits.

Emily puts her years of experience in the performing arts (opera, musical theatre, film & TV) to work to keep you moving as well as entertained. I want you to get the best workout for YOUR body and have fun while you're at it!
