Emily specializes in pilates mat, as well as variations incorporating weights, rings, blocks, gliders and other equipment to keep work-outs fresh and fun!
"Like many of my clients I thought pilates wasn't for me: 'I won't be any good at it.' The misconception about pilates is that it's super complicated and only for the advanced practitioner. Obviously there are advanced variations, but pilates is for everyone. It's a no-impact, core-focused workout meant to strengthen and lengthen the body. Not only is it a great addition to any workout plan, it's incredibly helpful and even vital for those recovering from injuries. Now, after almost a decade of teaching, I live by it. Because of the strength it's given me, I'm more agile, leaner and have avoided some injuries. It's truly changed my life, and I'd love to share this gift with you!"
