It was created my Joseph Pilates (hence the name) as a way to heal injuries and help those with disabilities. I offer in-home and virtual private and small group pilates sessions.

"Like many of my clients I thought pilates wasn't for me: 'I won't be any good at it.' The misconception about pilates is that it's super complicated and only for the advanced practitioner. Obviously there are advanced variations, but pilates is for everyone. It's a no-impact, core-focused workout meant to strengthen and lengthen the body. Not only is it a great addition to any workout plan, it's incredibly helpful and even vital for those recovering from injuries. Now, after over a decade of teaching, I live by it. Because of the strength it's given me, I'm more agile, leaner and have avoided injuries. It's truly changed my life, and I'd love to share this gift with you!"
